Organization
- The International Spaceflight Museum is operated by ISMuseum, a Texas non-profit corporation. It is a virtual museum with no Real Life, brick-and-mortar locations.
Metadata Project
- To organize our collection, and provide a useful contribution to the archival community, we are creating a specialized vocabulary and metadata schema for virtual 3D objects.
Archival files
- As well as offering free-to-visit virtual museum locations, we plan to create downloadable copies of selected exhibits to share with individuals and educators. At present, we plan to offer these files using OpenSim OAR and IAR formats.
